40-Tacoma/Swan Island 노선은 Basin, Cutter Circle, Going, Greeley, Interstate, 5th/6th, Macadam, Tacoma 및 Linwood를 경유하여 Swan Island, Rose Quarter, Portland City Center, South Portland, Sellwood, SE Tacoma/Johnson Creek Park & Ride 및 Clackamas Town Center를 연결합니다. 평일 오전과 오후에 각각 1회씩 운행되는 이동편이 Fuller Road MAX 역과 Cleveland 고등학교를 연결합니다.

Beginning Sunday, August 23, Line 40 will be extended to replace Line 34 between SE Tacoma/Johnson Creek Park & Ride and Clackamas Town Center. Buses will arrive about every 60 minutes on weekdays, and there will be no weekend service between the Park & Ride and Clackamas Town Center. One morning and one afternoon weekday trip on Line 40 to Fuller Road MAX Station provides a connection between Southeast Portland and MAX Green Line. Beginning Wednesday, August 26, through Friday, August 28, no service to the northbound stop at SW 6th & Washington (Stop ID 7803) from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. due to utility work. Use the temp stop at SW 6th & Oak.
